1. What kind of massage do you do?
Great Question! I specialize in what is Chinese Tui-Na and trigger point. Tui na is vigorous and really works the muscles and surrounding tissues. Trigger point work focuses in on the problem points and releases them. I also do what most people are familiar with as Swedish/ deep tissue and pregancy massage. I will gladly combine all techniques to customize your session to exactly what your body needs.
2. How often should I get a massage?
Personally every day would be great! However, realistically, at least once a month for regular maintenance. Most of my clients come in every 2-3 weeks. It all depends on how your body responds and what your needs are. There are packages available which help make frequent visits more affordable. Please feel free to discuss these at your next appointment.
3. What forms of payments do you take?
I accept Visa, MC, AMEX, Disc and most HSA's and Venmo. All payments are due at time of service, unless insurance is being billed. A credit card will hold your appointment. Your Card will only be charged after your session.
4. What are your cancellation policies?
All appointments can be adjusted, cancelled or moved, up to 24 hours prior to the appointment. You can access your appointment through the scheduling portal and make changes. Cancelation charges may apply with less than 24 hr notice. If an appointment is not kept (no call, no show) the full amount of the session will be changed to the card on file.
5. What are you doing regarding COVID-19?
I will be wearing a mask the entire time we are together. I ask that when you are face up on the table, that you also wear a mask (provided). Between clients, the sheets are all changed, table and fixtures wiped down and all laundry is placed in a hamper away from everything else. I will be wearing non-latex gloves for the massage. Honestly, you won't even know they are on. Since I only see one client at a time, and there is 30 minutes between sessions, social distancing is easy to maintain.
